When we first viewed Easy CGI's website, we were uncertain about the level of service we would receive, as their template style design suggested to us that this web host might do just the bare minimum. Host Monster is an excellent provider of shared hosting services, with a strong support team. They exceeded most of our expectations, with the only notable exception being in billing options, where we would have preferred a month-to-month payment option. Godaddy is one of the world's largest domain registrars, and also offers shared hosting, virtual dedicated hosting, and dedicated web hosting packages. As positives, Godaddy offers strong value-focused pricing, user-friendly contract terms, and an intuitive control panel. Negatively, their signup process could be intimidating for new users (lots of extras offered for a fee) and they don't offer toll-free support (which helps keep their hosting prices lower). Overall, Godaddy is an excellent choice for the value driven buyer.

PowWeb
PowWeb offers "Perfect Shared Hosting," a single plan billed at $7.77 per month that includes plenty of storage space and bandwidth, as well as MySQL databases, unlimited domain handling, and unlimited subdomains. These services all add up to a great value for the price, but it's in customer support where PowWeb shines, with short hold times, and a knowledgeable support staff.
