AN Hosting advertises a low monthly fee for their web hosting services, but during the signup process, we learn that they don't offer monthly billing - the advertised rate is really a prorated annual term.

Fortunately, this is the only big surprise when setting up an account with AN Hosting. The rest of the process is quite simple, and the only upsell product offered is AWStats, a very nice statistics package. Visitors may be happier with free alternatives, however, which offer more customization. We recommend skipping this extra, and just using the standard account.

AN Hosting did not disappoint from the services standpoint. Their accounts offer plenty of space (250 GB) and bandwidth (2500 GB), as well as unlimited MySQL databases, and support for PHP 5 (something missing from a fair amount of competitors).

Additionally, their servers were reliable and quick. Our account uptime was perfect, and we found performance that met our expectations across the board.

AN Hosting's billing was accurate, but billing terms differ from what appears to be advertised (annual payment required, monthly price shown). Overall, AN Hosting's billing is secure and accurately processed. If you are comfortable with annual terms, then there should be no other concerns with their billing practices.

With AN Hosting, we found wait times averaging roughly 3 minutes when seeking technical support. Compared to other hosts, this performance is adequate.

When we did reach a service representative, they were able to resolve our hypothetical questions with ease and were generally polite.

From a support perspective, AN Hosting does a fine job.
